Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in New Mexico. This position involves providing specialized patient care within the surgical environment by working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, leadership skills, and experience in various surgical specialties to ensure efficient and safe patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a total of 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse, valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, and experience with general, orthopedic, obstetrics & gynecology, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, trauma, and DaVinci robotics procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult and pediatric surgical cases
• Additional Information: The operating room unit consists of 6 operating rooms within a facility housing 99 beds. The position may require call shifts from Monday to Friday after hours and on weekends, with on-call shifts from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays and 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM weekends. The role emphasizes teamwork, supplies management, case scheduling, and assisting physicians during surgeries.
