HistoSonics is a commercial-stage medtech company advancing the Edison System, a novel non-invasive sonic beam therapy based on histotripsy. Since receiving FDA De Novo grant for the non-invasive destruction of liver tumors in 2023, the company has progressed beyond initial market entry into commercial expansion, reimbursement momentum, and ongoing clinical and pipeline development. In addition to its current liver tumor indication, HistoSonics is pursuing future indications across multiple applications including kidney, pancreas, prostate, neuro, women's health, and other significant underserved human health areas, to realize the broader potential histotripsy across multiple disease states and medical specialties.

Position Summary (Why this role matters):

The Material Handler will be responsible for various component movement and organization tasks including moving, storage, and tracking raw materials, parts, and finished goods, ensuring production runs smoothly by delivering supplies as needed, loading/unloading trucks, organizing inventory, operating equipment like forklifts, and documenting material flow, all while following strict safety (OSHA) and quality (GMP) rules to maintain an efficient, clean environment.

Key Responsibilities (What you'll do):

Kitting to Production

• Collect and kit components to go into the production area.
• Pay close attention to lot and serial numbers.
• Ensure all movements are documented accurately and completely.

Inventory Handling

• Monitor the shelf life of stock, take appropriate action to prevent the use of expired materials.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Complete a variety of inventory transactions including goods transfers, consumptions to cost centers, and scrapping to maintain inventory accuracy.

Organization

• Organize and label inventory items for easy identification and retrieval.
• Ensure that the warehouse is well-organized and clean.
• Assist in the implementation of safety protocols related to inventory handling.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in material handling role required.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy required.
• Familiarity with inventory management software required.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
