Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Per Diem opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support retail pharmacy operations across the greater Sacramento area. This role requires reliable professionals willing to commute within the greater Sacramento region, including possible assignments in Lodi and Stockton.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties, including answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions, operating the cash register, managing inventory, and handling takebacks
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills
• Adapt to workdays that may include day, evening, and weekend shifts
• Attend a brief training period provided by the client to ensure smooth integration into their processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ recent high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience; candidates with less than one year of experience will not be considered
• Valid California pharmacy technician license (PTCB certification preferred if applicable)
• Ability and willingness to commute extensively across the greater Sacramento area; candidates must be comfortable traveling to various locations
• Strong organizational skills and adherence to pharmacy operational standards
• Professional references including at least one retail supervisor
• Updated resume and completed skills checklist ready for submission

Location: Greater Sacramento area, including potential coverage in Lodi and Stockton

Schedule: Flexible per diem shifts covering days, evenings, and weekends; minimum commitment of 2-3 days per week with opportunity for additional hours
