Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Med Cert 3 Required

Right at Home Cleveland West, a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to join our team. Our mission is to provide high-quality, person-centered care that supports seniors and vulnerable adults in living safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Administer and manage client medications in accordance with Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans

• Support clients with mobility needs, including gait belt and Hoyer lift use when required

• Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision to ensure client safety

• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home support tasks

• Monitor and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or health status

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

• Follow all agency policies, documentation standards, and individualized care plans

What We Are Looking For:

• Active Med Cert 3 certification (required)

• Experience in direct care or caregiving preferred

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass background checks

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
