Job Description
DEFINITION:
A “Direct Support Professional” or DSP works directly with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities to assist the people they work with to become independent and integrated into their community.
Staff at the Lucy Idol Center provides services and transportation Monday - Friday for clients. This is a full time job that provides training that ensures all staff are current and up to date with state and company requirements.
EXPECTATIONS FOR STAFF:
Excellent attendance
Ability to provide reliable transportation for clients
All health and safety requirements are met.
Outstanding work ethic.
Ability to work as a team member as well as independently.
Flexibility, the ability to adapt to change.
On going training is continually met to meet current requirememnts.
