Join us at Andersen, and together, let's write the story of your success!The RoleSenior Managers in our Alternative Investment Funds practice oversee and complete tax projects; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance for a variety of clients, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, fund of funds, hedge funds and family offices. Senior Managers can expect to:Conduct primary and secondary review of complex federal and state tax returns;Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively;Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.); andSupervise, train, mentor and evaluate the performance of Seniors, Associates, and InternsThe Requirements• 6+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years of Alternative Investment Fund experience (preferably venture capital or private equity funds)• Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree – Accounting, Economics, or related degree preferred.• Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (i.e. CPA or JD);• Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; • Proficient use of technology.Compensation and BenefitsOur firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in California, the expected salary range for this role is $160,000 to $253,900; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 200 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
