Qualifications Required Qualifications: 11+ years' experience in systems design and engineering Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues. Solve software (Linux) issues and software development. Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin. Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset GitHub experience and other source control systems Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes. Desired Qualifications: Hands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments Hands-on experience developing with Python Hands-on experience developing with Ansible Hands-on experience developing with Opentext NNMi Hands-on experience developing with Cisco NSO Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud Deployment technologies like Ansible, Chet, Puppet, etc. Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills What you can expect from us The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $150,000 - 165,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
