Production & Metal Shop Assistant

Job Description

Description:

Dutchware Gear is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production & Metal Shop Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This position offers variety, working across multiple production areas to support our outdoor gear manufacturing process.

Requirements:

Mark fabrics with patterns using chalk
Operate webbing cutter
Assemble metal shop products
Assist in metal shop operations, including:
- Grinding
- Cutting
- Drilling
- Milling
- Polishing
Perform shop upkeep duties, including trash and cardboard removal
Fill down products with insulation
Serve as a “floater” to support different departments as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to work with hand tools and basic machinery
Strong attention to detail and precision
Willingness to learn new skills and work in different production areas
Team player with a positive, adaptable attitude
Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
