Overview:

An IT Business Analyst III is a senior-level role responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within an organization. They work independently, often taking on leadership or supervisory responsibilities, including overseeing other business analysts or projects. An IT Business Analyst III is an experienced professional who analyzes business needs and translates them into technical requirements for IT systems. They act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and are effectively implemented. This level typically involves leading or supervising projects, managing complex systems, and contributing to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical solutions to business problems; define, analyze, and document requirements.
• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements; develop and implement quality control methodologies; ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures; define reporting and alerting requirements.
• Help design, document, and maintain system processes.
• Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team.
• Communicate key insights and findings. Analyze requirements to develop analytical tools and databases. .
• Provide strategic business analysis services to business partners.
• Gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.
• Stay current with customer needs and strategies.
• Review processes from end to end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Identify, create and facilitate process design and process design changes with focus on quality improvement, data management, etc.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, minimum three (3) years of business/systems analysis or Quality assurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
