Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our cardiovascular team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will perform complex procedures and operate specialized equipment to support patient diagnostics and interventions. Responsibilities: Facilitate and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and Rotablation systems. Prepare and maintain the cath lab environment, ensuring all supplies and tools are ready for scheduled cases. Document procedure details accurately within the Xper charting system. Collaborate with cardiology teams, circulating, and monitoring staff to support a high volume of cases. Respond promptly to on-call emergencies, maintaining a response time of 30 minutes. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN, ARRT, or RCIS license with at least 2 years of cath lab experience. Demonstrate proficiency with LHC, LERO, RHC, and PM/ICD/BI-V insertions. Possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Have experience operating cath lab equipment such as Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and Rotablation. Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
