NG Direct Sales Agent Specialist - Direct Auto

This role is within the Direct Auto Insurance line, driving profitable growth by acquiring new customers and cross‑selling products such as Auto, Life, Auto Club and Roadside Assistance. Job Description The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for building and retaining a book of business within the market/ retail location, attracting new customers and cross‑selling existing customers. The role sells to walk‑in customers, conducts marketing calls, and visits the community to build relationships that promote continued growth. Key Responsibilities Drive new business sales and achieve business goals. Build rapport and trust with customers to understand their needs. Generate and retain a book of business in the designated market. Cross‑sell existing customers to support product offerings. Market products outside the office through calls and in‑person visits. Minimum Qualifications 0‑2 years of experience. P&C licensing preferred; must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining. Preferred Skills and Competencies Successfully close sales of insurance and ancillary products. Meet and exceed sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention. Leverage community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active presence. Initiate outbound calls to target customer base for product offerings. Monitor local competition and suggest initiatives to improve market position. Collaborate with Direct Sales Leadership on marketing and sales processes to meet production goals. Deliver results within metrics such as quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Maintain current knowledge of underwriting guidelines and company policies. Process customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer receipts.
