Our organization adheres to all federal, state, and accreditation standards, including those established by The Joint Commission, to maintain a safe and compliant care environment. **POSITION SUMMARY:* The Radiologist Operations Navigator serves as a critical operational partner for radiologists and clinical teams, ensuring seamless coordination of imaging workflows, communication, and daily operations across multiple sites. This role acts as a central point of contact, proactively managing schedules, facilitating communication, and resolving workflow challenges to support timely, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and operational teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:* Coordinate daily radiologist workflows, including study volumes, schedules, and modality coverage across sites Serve as a primary liaison between radiologists, technologists, physician offices, and internal departments Manage and prioritize incoming communications (calls, messages, requests) and ensure timely follow-up Facilitate timely delivery of imaging results and reports by coordinating across clinical and operational teams Monitor workflow queues and identify bottlenecks or delays; proactively elevate and resolve issues Support radiologists with administrative and operational needs to optimize productivity and efficiency Assist in managing patient scheduling coordination and ensuring alignment with radiologist availability Partner with IT/PACS and operations teams to troubleshoot workflow or system-related issues Ensure adherence to operational protocols, service level expectations, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and communication records Support onboarding and training of new staff on workflow processes and communication protocols Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and service delivery **QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:* Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred LPN or Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, radiology, or clinical coordination preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology and radiology workflows Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and/or PACS systems preferred Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask Strong communication skills with ability to interact effectively with physicians and clinical teams High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving mindset with ability to anticipate and resolve workflow issues Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Visual acuity sufficient to interpret detailed diagnostic images Manual dexterity to operate computer systems and imaging software Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff Occasional movement throughout clinical and office environments WHAT WE OFFER : At Northern Light, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
