PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assists the Campus Principal in the overall administration of the school Serves as Campus Principal in the absence of the regular Campus Principal Assists in the schedules of classes and extracurricular activities Supervises the preparation of student schedules Works with department heads and faculty in compiling the annual budget requests Requisitions supplies, textbooks, and equipment, conducting inventories, maintaining records, and checking on receipts for such material Cooperates in the conducting of safety inspections and safety drill practice activities Assumes responsibility for coordinating transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services Supervises the reporting and monitoring of student attendance, and works with the attendance supervisor for investigative follow-up actions Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, and deals with special cases as necessary Meets with parents/guardians for conference in regard to student issues Meets with students on discipline issues Assumes the lead Administrator representing the campus in the scheduled ARD meetings Serves with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives Conducts meetings of the staff as necessary for the proper functioning of the school and in request of the Campus Principal Orients newly assigned staff members and assists in their development, as appropriate Keeps informed of changes and developments in the profession by attending professional meetings, reading professional journals and other publications Attends special events held to recognize student achievement, and attends school sponsored activities, functions and athletic events Assists the Campus Principal in supervising all activities and programs that are outgrowths of the school's curriculum Assists in the recruiting, screening, hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating of the school's employees Assists the Campus Principal in the planning, organization, and direct implementation of all school activities. Evaluates and counsels all staff members regarding their individual and group performance Assists in supervising the maintenance of accurate records on the progress and attendance of students Works with various members of the district office staff to solve school problems such as transportation, special services, federal and state programs Assists in Supervising all campus professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and non-professional personnel Assists in the development and monitoring of the instructional program Administers the student insurance program when applicable.
