About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Principal Gifts to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's principal gift program, with a focus on cultivating and soliciting major donors. This role involves working closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic fundraising plans, as well as overseeing a team of professionals in the principal gifts area. The Vice President will also be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, alumni, and other potential major donors. Applicants for the Vice President, Principal Gifts position at the company should have a proven track record in major gift fundraising, with a deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a senior fundraising role, with a focus on principal gifts. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of individuals. A strategic and goal-oriented approach, as well as a high level of professionalism and integrity, are also key attributes for this role.
