Middle Office Ops Associate

Overview: Middle Office Ops Associate Downtown Chicago - Onsite About The Role: Seeking a Middle Office Associate to support global financial futures and equity derivatives teams, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and strong risk controls while collaborating across the business. What You'll Do: Support the financial futures front office and clients with daily middle office operations. Manage the post-trade lifecycle, including trade reconciliations, allocations, confirmations, client reporting, and issue resolution. Ensure accurate trade reporting and compliance with FCA, SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, SOX, and other regulatory requirements. Monitor trade positions, validate daily volumes and P&L, and resolve trade exceptions. Enhance operational controls, reconciliation processes, and automation initiatives. Partner with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Audit, Compliance, Trade Support, and Back Office teams. Support client and broker onboarding, including voice and DMA execution. Assist with new system implementations and collaborate with software vendors on enhancements and issue resolution. Maintain operating procedures, train team members, and promote business continuity. Adhere to operational risk policies, escalate issues promptly, and uphold the company's Code of Conduct and compliance standards. What We're Looking For: Experience in a middle office or operations role within financial services. Knowledge of regulated environments, operational risk, and compliance requirements. Experience with ATEO/TT (TEO, LISA) and FIX Connectivity/Protocol preferred. Strong understanding of financial futures trade flow and post-trade processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
