Correctional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) CBH of VA is actively hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time evening shift position at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to inmates Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Collect vital signs, lab specimens, and patient health data Support sick call and assist providers with procedures Administer medications and maintain accurate MAR documentation Monitor patient conditions and report changes Conduct rounds and document patient progress Follow infection control and safety protocols Maintain medication security, including narcotics accountability Assist with patient transfers and required reporting Qualifications Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state Strong understanding of nursing care principles Ability to recognize signs of mental illness, emotional disturbances, or substance dependency Proficient in phlebotomy and administering PPD tests Dental insurance with a generous orthodontic credit Vision insuranceCompany-paid life insurance and extensive ancillary coverage options Paid time off Employee assistance program (EAP) Continuing education credits Referral program Schedule Evening shift Monday through Friday (rotating weekend) #J-18808-Ljbffr Cbh-Medical,-P.c
