Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

This position requires a 4x10-hour schedule, with shifts running from 07:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room department. The ideal candidate should have experience in Orthopedic, Spine, Vascular, ENT, General, and Gyn surgical cases. As a traveling nurse, you will be responsible for circulating various surgical procedures and scrubbing in for specific cases as needed.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for ENT, General Surgery, Total joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Ortho, and Plastic surgeries.
• Scrub for Vascular surgeries and assist during procedures.
• Provide post-operative and pre-operative care to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile protocols during surgeries.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate smooth and efficient surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Must have experience with Ortho and Spine cases.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS preferred).
• Proficient in using Epic Electronic Health Record system.
• Must possess a valid RN license in the state of practice.
