Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $3,500 a week in all, a taxable rate of $45.86 an hour plus $1,666 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab. The position supports cardiac catheterization procedures in an acute care setting, providing conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, cardiac drip administration, and balloon pump care. The role requires current cardiac catheterization laboratory experience and participation in weekday and weekend call rotations.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 3 years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week. Start times vary between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.; shifts may extend until cases are completed. Weekend call rotation is required.
• Additional Information: Experience with cardiac and coronary procedures is required. Responsibilities include conscious and moderate sedation, procedural support, airway management, cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressins, and balloon pump care. Scrubbing is not required. Travelers will not be cross-trained and must be comfortable working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment. A basic electrocardiogram interpretation assessment is assigned during orientation.
