The Commercial Product Infrastructure (CPI) team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft's cloud-first strategy.

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team's charter is to build out and operate Microsoft's cloud infrastructure while driving down unit cost of capacity, ensuring cloud services achieve gross margin growth and share expansion. As a crucial member of the team you'll provide and manage supply and financial implications in support of AI Foundry supply as well as internal Microsoft AI Training plans.

Responsibilities

The role requires the ability to work across a diverse range of partners, build process and procedures within a new and quickly growing cloud space with a high degree of agility and skill in navigating multiple stakeholder requirements. To be successful, the individual needs to be highly collaborative, self-motivated and be curious in learning.

• Analytical: Model and analyze key strategic drivers to influence and drive planning decisions and strategic activities, specifically in relation to our global cloud fleet.

• Business Partnership: Act as a strategic and trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the company regularly to influence business direction and operational support.

• Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes to drive automation, efficiency, prioritization, and cross team collaboration.

• Controls and Compliance: Ensure data integrity and clarity across key stakeholders throughout the company to drive clear insights to enable real-time decisions. Ensure adequate internal controls are in place.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
• 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
• 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
• People management experience required
• Previous accounting experience in Cloud, supply chain, fixed assets, leases and/or multi-national companies preferred
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with all levels of management
• Demonstrated systems and process improvement experience
• Must be extremely collaborative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, creating effective internal business partnerships
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have excellent attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
