10-4 Logistics USA is hiring CDL-A regional drivers for its Northeast fleet based in Fairfield, Connecticut. This position offers consistent weekly home time, mileage-based pay, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Drivers typically haul regional freight from Northern North Carolina through Maine and as far west as Eastern Ohio, with home time on Saturdays and Sundays.
- $4,000 sign-on bonus
- $0.80–$0.85 per mile
- Home Saturday and Sunday for a 34-hour reset
- Average 1,500 miles per week, depending on hours and freight availability
- Average length of haul of approximately 400 miles
- Up to 3 cents per mile performance bonus based on safety, mileage, and productivity
- Additional stop pay, detention pay, and Long Island delivery pay
- 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth tractors
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) match, and paid time off
Top regional drivers on this fleet earn up to $1,850 per week. Additional compensation includes $20 for the first stop, $35 for the second stop, $50 for the third stop and each additional stop, $65 for Long Island deliveries, and $12.50 per hour in detention pay after two hours.
Drivers handle a combination of live loads and preloaded trailers throughout the Northeast regional network. The operating area generally extends from Virginia to Maine, with typical freight moving from Northern North Carolina through Maine and as far west as Eastern Ohio. Occasional routes outside the primary area may be assigned to help maximize miles while maintaining weekly home time.
Drivers who choose to remain on the road instead of returning home for their weekly reset may have opportunities to haul additional weekend freight for extra miles and pay. A willingness to drive in New York City is preferred but not required.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of three months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Must meet Department of Transportation safety and medical requirements
- Willingness to handle live loads and preloaded trailer freight
