- Specialty Backup Available: Perinatology, Neonatology
- Support Staff Available: Ultrasonographer, 24/7 Anesthesia (10 MDs)
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections (provider must assist)
- No abortions or postpartum tubal ligations (except during C-sections)
- Board: BC/BE
- Licenses: Active CA License
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Recent/current laborist experience required
- Other Qualifications:
- Clean background
- NPDB report
- Provide 24-hour in-house hospital call coverage for the OB/GYN department
- Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections (assist required)
- Triage and manage OB ED (Obstetric Emergency Department) patients
- Monitor patients on Pitocin, remaining onsite for the entire call shift
- Assist with urgent GYN surgeries as needed while on-call
