Job Title: ED Night RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 Years Required, 2+ Preferred License: RN License (State or Multi-State Compact) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum 18 months of Nursing experience working in an Emergency Department environment. - Emergency Department experience within the past six months. - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Our Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs are equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Emergency Department nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions. They should be able to prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly.
