As a Security Officer Part Time - Weekends in SAVANNAH GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors associates and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access practices and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility including interior areas loading and receiving zones parking areas and the perimeter as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity to help support authorized access observe for unusual behavior and/or operational issues and communicate security-related information to site contacts as needed.
• Support loss prevention and inventory protection efforts by observing high-traffic and restricted areas helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting policy violations hazards and/or suspicious conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
