Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and create personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and everyday tasks.
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide a complete and thoughtful approach to patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapy techniques to sustain progress outside of the clinical setting.
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment protocols as necessary to ensure patients stay focused on their goals.

Education

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouraged engagement in continuing education or advanced certifications

Licensure

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
