Shipping & Receiving ClerkAmherst, NH Immediately Temporary/ContractDescriptionApply for tomorrow's opportunity today, with VoltVolt is immediately hiring Shipping & Receiving Clerk 1st Shift in Amherst, NH.As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk 1st Shift, you will:Adhere to plant and corporate safety policies.Assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.Assures shipping counts match packing documents and assists in resolving any discrepancies.Identify and help resolve discrepancies between receipts and documentation.Pack customer goods according to customer expectations.Receives and unpacks deliveries of customer product.Recognize gross defects in customer product.Verifies proper count and content of deliveries against packing slip.This is a Full time, Contract to Hire opportunity.Required Skills & Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED Required.Load/unload trucks manually or with powered lift / forklift.Operate precision measuring instruments and record results.Process shipping orders by withdrawing from stock, weighing, packing, and labeling materials for shipment.Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 Per hourBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
