UW Medical Center-Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a per diem Registered Nurse for our PACU Department.

Work Schedule:

• Days
• Evenings
• Weekends

Department Description: Our PACU RNs provide pre-admission assessment and phase 1 post anesthesia care for our surgical patients. These nurses also provide surgical patient discharge teaching.

Position Highlights:

• Assessment and nursing diagnosis of patients
• Care planning
• Patient teaching
• Discharge and transfer planning
• Admission, discharge and transfer processes

Requirements:

• 2 years current recent Critical Care experience, Emergency or PACU Phase I and/or Phase II
• PACU experience preferred.
• Active Washington State RN License or applicable Multistate RN license

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details:

• Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly
• Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly
• Other Compensation: $5.00/hr nights $4.00/hr weekends $3.00/hr evenings $1.00/hr BSN $1.25/hr Nursing Certification
