About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director and Vice President of Development for its Foundation. The successful candidate will provide executive leadership and management of the Foundation, setting and executing its strategic, fundraising, and stewardship direction. This role is pivotal in overseeing the Foundation's humanitarian, educational, and scientific programs, and in leading the engagement with various funding sources to secure grants for the company's strategic priorities. The Executive Director will also be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and administration of the Foundation, managing a team of nine employees, and working closely with the Foundation Board of Trustees. Applicants for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and 5-10 years of executive leadership experience in a non-profit, healthcare, association, foundation, or mission-driven organization. The role requires a proven track record in fundraising, donor development, grant acquisition, and relationship management, as well as strong financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, relationship-building, and executive presence, and a commitment to ethical fundraising and mission-driven leadership. Experience with major gifts, planned giving, corporate partnerships, and foundation grantmaking is also highly valued.
