General Function The Assistant Manager II is a core member of the leadership team that drives Sunglass Hut's success. In partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager, you oversee daily store functions including selling, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition and retail excellence. Major Duties and Responsibilities Utilize all company tools to deliver the sales plan, develop associates, and achieve company objectives. Use reporting tools and business acumen to identify performance gaps and capitalize on successes. Provide ongoing coaching for associates, fostering growth and a motivating work environment. Acquire talent through networking, recruiting skills, and conducting interviews with the Store/Multi Store Manager. Seek opportunities for self-development as defined in an individual development plan. Spend the majority of time on the sales floor. Develop and maintain customer relationships, maximizing all company tools. Consistently execute brand standards. Maintain store merchandising standards, including updates or changes. Know product knowledge and use company learning tools to stay current on new fashion and performance products. Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures. Communicate brand strategy, promotions, contests, and incentives clearly to the team. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience. Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operation. Detail-oriented. Uses critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of operational components. Preferred Qualifications Customer service and/or retail experience. Previous leadership experience of 1+ years. Compensation and Benefits Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
