Job Responsibilities - What You'll Do

• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot inaccuracies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as deemed necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, facilitate training for new hires or students, and help uphold the quality standards of the laboratory.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a corresponding allied health degree, is required; ASCP/AMT certification preparation is preferred.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Continued certification maintenance throughout employment is mandatory.
