Emergency Medicine Physician

Seeking Physicians to staff an Emergency Department in Houston, TX, with full-time and part-time options available.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing emergency care to approximately 28,000 patients annually
- Covering shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Ensuring coverage with 16-18 hours daily of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Alternatively, at least 2 years of ER experience (or 1-year EM Fellowship) plus ABIM/AOBIM or ABFM/ABOFM certification/eligibility
- ACLs and ATLS certification required
- Eligible for 1099 status with covered malpractice & tail insurance
Key duties:
Staff shifts with a flexible schedule for full-time (12 shifts/month, including 2 weekends) or part-time (6 shifts/month, including 1 weekend).
Compensation:
$270 per hour.
