Corporate - Franchise Associate

Howard & Howard, a leading national business law firm, is currently seeking a Corporate-Franchise Associate with two to five years of experience to join the Firm in its Chicago or Peoria, IL; Royal Oak, MI; or Las Vegas, NV office. Desired Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in franchise law or corporate transactional practice
• Experience drafting and updating Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs)
• Experience drafting franchise agreements and related ancillary agreements
• Familiarity with franchise registration, renewal filings, and responding to state comment letters
• Knowledge of federal and state franchise laws and regulations
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience advising clients on franchise compliance and operational issues preferred
