Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 5th to 7th year Corporate Transactions Senior Associate to join its Chicago IL office on an onsite basis. This is an immediate opening for a senior level transactional associate who enjoys running deal workstreams, partnering closely with deal teams, and taking ownership of key diligence and drafting responsibilities through signing and closing. The firm offers a well established national platform with a collaborative, partner accessible environment and sophisticated client work, including matters for health care and health care adjacent businesses and other regulated industry participants. The Opportunity The role focuses on corporate transactions with a meaningful emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, including managing diligence, drafting and negotiating definitive agreements and ancillary documents, and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders to drive deals to closing.
