Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting, client billing for recurring cloud/managed services, vendor payments, and monthly reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing & A/R: Manage monthly recurring billing for cloud and IT service contracts; track receivables and collections.
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, hardware purchase orders, and software license billings.
- General Ledger & Month-End: Prepare journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting (GAAP).
- Costing & Compliance: Track project-based labor/hardware costs and assist with Texas sales and use tax compliance.
- Payroll Support: Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and benefit allocations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2–4+ years of accounting experience, HR experience (IT services or MSP background preferred).
- Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks/accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with MSP ticketing/billing platforms (ConnectWise, Autotask) is a plus.
