Bag Machine OperatorTolleson, AZCompensation IncludesStarting Pay Rate of $20/hourOverviewUnder the direction of the Production Supervisor and designated Shift Leads, this position is responsible for operating bag line equipment in order to produce printed and functional paper bags following quality specifications.Available ShiftDays: 7am - 7pmNights: 7pm - 7am223 scheduleResponsibilitiesSetup and operate bag machine(s) and support equipment to convert paper to bagsRead and verify line orders/docketsUnderstand printing job requirements by the specificationsSet up the bag line by loading paper and adjusting for sizeMount cylinders, adjusts pressure, tensions and adjusts distribution of inkTrouble shoot stoppages and breakdownsPerform quality checks of material being produced and related documentationResponsibility for food safety and GMP'sComplete daily production paperworkMaintain a clean and safe work areaQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentEligible to work in the United States1 year of manufacturing experience required, Machine Operator experience preferredSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screenAbility to work 12 hour day and night rotating shiftWork overtime as requiredSatisfactorily completes training courses as determined by managementAbility perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodationPhysical RequirementsRequirements include, but are not limited to (all times are approximate):Sitting (1-2 hours)Standing (Constantly - 12 hours or more)Walking (Constantly 12 hours or more)Lifting (Regularly/Constantly): 0-10 lbs.
