Analyst I / Analyst II - Compliance Analyst

Job Title: Analyst I/II Location: San Quentin Rehabilitation Center, San Quentin, Marin County, CA Job Description and Duties Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Analyst I/II independently performs analytical work evaluating, monitoring, and maintaining institutional compliance with federal court mandates, federal and state regulations, and departmental policies and procedures. The Analyst I/II conducts a wide range of analytical duties that require knowledge of department regulations, policies, procedures, and the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and exercise good judgment. The Analyst I/II may function as a team lead over internal audits and special projects, supports the overall mission and immediate goals of the institution, and performs duties as necessary to improve program service delivery. Minimum Qualifications – Analyst II Four (4) years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis. Additional one (1) year of professional analytical and/or technical experience equivalent to an Analyst I, Rank C. Candidate must fully meet the experience requirement before appointment; a candidate within six months of satisfying the requirement may be admitted to the examination. Minimum Qualifications – Analyst I Four (4) years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties.
