Anytime Fitness Whitehouse Station is a new, locally owned and veteran-owned club opening in late August 2026. We are building a high-quality, community-driven fitness experience for Whitehouse Station and the surrounding Readington area.

With over 6,000 clubs worldwide, Anytime Fitness is the largest fitness network in the world, known for its supportive culture, convenient small-footprint clubs, and commitment to helping members achieve real results. While we are part of a global brand, our Whitehouse Station location is independently owned and operated by a family that lives in this community.

The Membership Sales Associate is the front of house for our club. You are the first person a prospective member meets, the voice on the other end of a follow-up call, and the reason someone decides to walk through our doors instead of driving past.

This role is built for someone who genuinely enjoys people and is not intimidated by the ask. You will manage inbound leads, conduct tours and consultations, present membership options, and enroll new members. You will also prospect, follow up, and build relationships in the community that turn into members.

We are a new club with a small team, which means the person in this seat helps set the standard for how we operate from day one.

• Base hourly wage of $17 per hour
• Uncapped commission on every membership you enroll, paid semi-monthly
• Monthly volume bonus tied to memberships sold
• Commission on coaching and training program enrollments
• Paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (half day), Christmas Day
• Complimentary club membership and personal training sessions
• Discounts on health and wellness products and services

Typical first-year earnings for this role range from $36,000 to $41,000 based on performance. Because commission is uncapped, strong performers earn above that range.

This role starts at 30 hours per week. The move to full-time is real, it is available to anyone who wants it, and it is earned through performance rather than time served. We will tell you the specific production targets before you start so you always know exactly where you stand and what the next step requires.

Full-time team members receive a full benefits package including health insurance support, paid time off accrual, and paid holidays. Full-time earnings in this role typically range from $46,500 to $52,500 annually.

If full-time is not what you want, that is a legitimate choice and this role works well as a part-time position. We will not push you toward hours you do not want.

• Contact all new leads within one hour of receipt
• Prospect daily to meet monthly appointment booking goals
• Maintain a strong booking rate on inbound membership leads
• Follow the full confirmation process on every scheduled appointment
• Meet or exceed daily call and outreach targets

• Conduct tours and consultations with prospective members
• Present membership options at current rate and program structure
• Enroll new members and introduce coaching programs where they fit the member’s goals
• Enter all agreements accurately and completely in ABC Financial
• Collect all applicable fees at point of sale
• Conduct weekly delinquent account calls to support payment recovery

• Deliver a consistently positive, supportive, and results-driven experience to every member
• Proactively engage members through consistent communication, follow-up, and personal connection
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility at all times
• Uphold Anytime Fitness brand standards for appearance, operations, and service quality

• Execute local marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives
• Represent the club at local events and build partnerships with schools, businesses, and organizations
• Support social media strategy and content creation

• Complete our full onboarding program, including a digital learning platform and a three-day live sales training
• Participate in ongoing one-on-one and group coaching focused on sales skills and club operations
• Participate in communication training provided by the club

• Contribute to special projects and business initiatives as needed
• Demonstrate a solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to step into any role required to support team success

We believe you should always know where you stand. You will have clear targets for appointments set, appointments shown, memberships enrolled, and coaching enrollments, and you will know what those targets are before you start. We review them with you regularly and adjust when the club’s reality changes.

Targets here are not handed down and forgotten. You get the training, the systems, and the direct support of an owner who is in the building. If a number is not being hit, our first question is what support is missing.

• Demonstrated experience in sales, membership sales, or a consultative service role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar, punctuation, and clarity in person, by phone, by email, and by text
• Comfort initiating conversations and asking for the sale
• Reliability and availability across afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Comfort with CRM and sales software

• Experience in a fitness, wellness, or membership-based environment
• Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent)
• Experience creating or contributing to social media content
• Interest in a long-term path into coaching or club management

Clear, professional, well-structured communication is a core expectation of this role. Every message you send represents the club. We provide communication training and support the use of AI tools to help refine and structure messaging, and we expect everything to be proofread before it goes out.
