Project Executive

Our client, a privately‑held construction based in the Midwest, seeks a Project Executive to lead its power generation/thermal market sector, overseeing a portfolio of complex, multi-year electrical construction projects. This leader will be accountable for project execution, financial performance, team development, and key customer relationships while driving market sector growth. Combining hands‑on operational leadership with business development, the Project Executive will identify new opportunities, strengthen customer partnerships, and build the talent and project pipeline to support continued success. Candidate Requirements Electrical Construction Experience: Progressive leadership experience with an electrical contractor, including 5-7+ years of direct project management responsibility and the ability to oversee multiple complex projects. Financial & Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of electrical construction operations, project financials, risk management, and gross margin performance. Proven Leadership: Confident, approachable, and decisive leader who builds trust, develops teams, navigates challenges diplomatically, and balances competing priorities. Practical Experience: Established Project Executives and qualified Senior Project Managers will be considered. Hands-on experience and demonstrated results are valued over formal education or certifications. Power Generation Expertise: Direct accountability for the full lifecycle of at least one power plant electrical construction project, including project execution, financial performance, and customer relationships. #J-18808-Ljbffr Stranberg, LLC.
