Registered Nurse OB/GYN

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to a specific group of patients. The role involves utilizing clinical skills, nursing protocols, and technological resources to deliver safe and effective patient-centered care within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient and family requirements.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications accurately in accordance with physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Illinois state RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in BLS (American Heart Association).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Successfully complete all required departmental competencies.
