Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Manager to join our team in Hayden, ID, 83835. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that our products are handled efficiently and accurately. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for logistics, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments.
- Supervise and train shipping and receiving staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule deliveries and pickups, optimizing routes and schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee inventory control processes.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor shipping and receiving metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
- Resolve any issues related to shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, or delayed shipments.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
