Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Windsor, CT
$30–$33/hour
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting where you'll help residents improve independence, restore function, and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional mobility
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence and safety
- Observe resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
