This contract opportunity runs from late August through early June, offering a full-time position with consistent weekday hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Connecticut
• Recent schools-based experience required, preferably working with K-12 populations
• Extensive clinical skills, especially within educational settings
• Comfortable working full-time (35 hours/week, Monday through Friday)
• Strong ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families
• Commitment to fostering independence and student growth

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 as directed by the supervising OT
• Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support classroom participation, fine and gross motor development, and life skill acquisition
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure coordinated student care
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Encourage student engagement and celebrate small successes along the way
