Schedule Full schedule hours: Sunday 9a‑11p, Monday‑Tuesday 3p‑11p, and every other Wednesday 3p‑11p Thursday‑Friday 2p‑11p, Saturday 9a‑11p, and every other Wednesday 2p‑11p Sunday‑Tuesday 11p‑9a and every other Wednesday 11p‑9a Thursday‑Sunday 11p‑9a and every other Wednesday 11p‑9a Sunday‑Tuesday 3p‑11p and every other Wednesday 3p‑11p Responsibilities Provide support and care to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a residential setting. Communicate with individuals' families, members of their IDT, day program, and other providers of services. Instruct, support, and participate in household tasks including light housekeeping, preparing meals, changing diapers, administering medication, etc. Prepare food according to developed menus, menu protocols, individuals' likes, dislikes, and prescribed diet. Assist in developing daily living skills by identifying and meeting social, environmental, and health care needs. Transport individuals and/or provide mobility training to assist individuals attend appointments, community rehabilitation programs, grocery shopping, etc. Attend client staff meetings, training in‑services, house and program meetings as instructed. Ensure compliance with VOAC program requirements, environment‑specific rules, as well as regulations from all monitoring entities. Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 1 year of Direct Support Professional or similar experience. Willingness and ability to provide direct care and supportive services as needed. Must be 21 years old. High School Diploma. Updated physical. Valid Driver's License. 3-year driving history required. CPR/First Aid Certification. TB required.
