Flightline Quality Manager Company: The Boeing Company – Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First Line Product and Quality Manager (Level K) to join the Field Quality Team in Everett, WA. This position is available for 3rd shift. Position Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of employees responsible for evaluating and ensuring that products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations. Develop and implement effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes. Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence. Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards. Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and safety. Acquire and manage resources efficiently, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance. Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to foster collaboration and success. Inspire, develop, and motivate employees, cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) 1+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives. Must be willing and able to work any shift (including weekends and holidays, with possible scheduled and unscheduled overtime). At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large-scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) A&P license. 3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-functional teams within a Quality Management environment. 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams. Bachelor’s Degree or higher. 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 3+ years of experience in a production/factory environment. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. High energy and enthusiasm for driving cultural change and improvement. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint). Solid business acumen with a proven ability to develop and execute successful strategies.
