Logistics Associate

Our client, an Av Manufacturing company, is looking for a Logistics Associate for their Foster City, CA location. Responsibilities include managing, processing, and performing all material movement transactions in an electronic component production environment. This involves receiving incoming purchase orders, kit material to production line, performing cycle counting duties, and shipping orders. The role also includes managing and controlling all materials in warehouse and production locations, supporting quality teams on failed material inventory movement, and performing inventory analysis such as cycle counting and inventory discrepancy resolution. Additional duties include supporting and assisting with material operation projects and special assignments, performing warehouse and fulfillment functions such as receiving, incoming inspection, inventory management, PO returns, kitting, cycle counts, and order processing. The position requires receiving incoming material, performing incoming receiving inspection, handling internal product transfers shipments, picking work orders, delivering parts to production line, shipping and receiving material, performing inventory cycle counts and discrepancy investigations, triaging incoming material parts for rework or scrap, performing MRP transactions in SAP, communicating with production and engineering teams on any receiving issues and/or discrepancies, consolidating pending parts for repair charges and assisting with material production planning, following up on pending material orders for completion, organizing and maintaining cleanliness of stock inventory locations, receiving dock, and warehouse, ensuring quality documentation provided with shipments is correct, troubleshooting material movements, or roadblocks to processing, and reporting on inventory quantity, units processed, and overall material status.

Requirements include a minimum of 4 years of warehouse/inventory experience preferred, MRP system experience and knowledge required (SAP, Oracle, etc.), excellent interpersonal communications and organization skills, ability to multi-task while making effective decisions, RMA, procurement or Return to Vendor experience a plus, attention to details and strong organizational skill, independent person and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision, team player, problem solver, comfortable working in a start-up environment, and proficient with MS Office.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling in excess of 25 pounds, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb, and balance.
