How you will contribute

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking candidates graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the role of Analyst in our Corporate Performance Improvement (A&M CPI) practice. 

At A&M, we assist clients with their most pressing operational and strategic issues, and Analysts serve as an integral part of our project teams. Analysts are routinely exposed to senior clients and firm leadership and help our clients solve complex problems from day one of their first project. Working on meaningful engagements, Analysts produce work that is frequently seen by senior client executives. A&M CPI is a team-focused, results-oriented organization, and we are looking for candidates who are passionate about our core values, Fun, Objectivity, Quality, Integrity, Personal Reward, and Inclusive Diversity. The ideal candidate is adaptable to new assignments, systems, and tools, can handle multiple tasks concurrently, and is able to meet deadlines. Travel is to be expected.

CPI analysts can expect to be a part of A&M’s Advancing and Cultivating Emerging (ACE) Leaders program. ACE is the early career destination program for Alvarez & Marsal CPI analysts and consultants. Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrable teaming skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and willingness to learn
• Minimum 3.5 GPA required, both major and overall
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Preferred degrees/majors/course enrollment listed below:

• Comfortable with travel, up to 80%

Benefits Summary

R egular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a  401(k) retirement   savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their  401(k) retirement   savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The?salary?is $90,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on   a number of   factors, including individual and firm performance.? Please ask your recruiter for details.
