Role Overview The team is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software features for embedded electronic controls supporting safety-detect machine applications. Key Responsibilities Develop embedded software features using C++ / Linux. Perform requirements decomposition, software design, development, integration, and testing. Troubleshoot and resolve issues through triage and debugging. Develop validation plans and participate in design/code reviews. Collaborate with global systems, software, machine, and validation teams in an Agile/Sprint environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 6 7 years of relevant industry experience; Master s degree accepted with 5+ years. Strong C/C++ programming and software design/analysis. Experience with Git, debuggers, compilers, CTest/GTest. Knowledge of embedded systems, Linux, CAN, Ethernet/datalinks. Experience with system-level feature design and specifications. Strong troubleshooting and concise technical writing skills.
