This boutique firm specializes in middle market M&A, ESOP advisory, and ownership transition strategy, working with business owners across a range of industries on complex, high stakes transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real deal exposure and a direct path to growth, without the burnout culture of a bulge bracket shop. What you’ll do: Support all phases of the deal lifecycle, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis) Prepare offering memorandums, management presentations, and other deal materials Conduct industry and company research to support deal strategy Collaborate directly with senior bankers and clients throughout the transaction process Assist with ESOP feasibility studies and 1042 transaction structuring What we’re looking for: 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, or related financial analysis role Some tie to Columbus, OH (must have) Experience communicating externally with clients Strong financial modeling and Excel skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple deal timelines Self starter who thrives in a fast paced, deal driven environment Why this role: Direct mentorship from experienced bankers Exposure to the full deal process, not just spreadsheet work Strong compensation and growth trajectory Columbus based, in office collaborative culture Interested?
