Lloyd Law Group of Arizona PLLC|Payson, Arizona|Full-Time Lloyd Law Group of Arizona PLLC is a plaintiff's medical malpractice and personal injury firm in Payson, Arizona, and we have a full-time opening for an experienced litigation paralegal. This is the central role in our office. We handle complex, high-value med mal and personal injury cases, and we need someone who is genuinely skilled at managing the full life cycle of plaintiff litigation from intake through trial. If you have a strong background in plaintiff-side medical malpractice or personal injury work, care deeply about the clients you serve, and want to be a valued part of a small and dedicated team, we would love to hear from you. Essential Functions Draft, proofread, and finalize correspondence, demand letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents Prepare initial drafts of complaints, motions in limine, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents Review, organize, and summarize medical records, expert reports, and documents obtained through discovery Coordinate and manage expert witnesses, including scheduling, communication, and preparation of materials Prepare subpoenas and other legal process and coordinate service of process Manage and organize case files across multiple active matters simultaneously Calendar all litigation deadlines, court dates, depositions, mediations, and hearings with accuracy Assist in preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial Communicate professionally with clients, treating physicians, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and court staff Conduct legal research and factual investigation as needed Job Requirements Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in a plaintiff-side medical malpractice or personal injury litigation practice Thorough familiarity with Arizona state court procedures and electronic filing requirements; federal court experience a plus Strong computer proficiency including MS Office, case management software, and document management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clearly and professionally without close supervision High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness across all work product Superior organizational and calendaring skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment while also being a collaborative team member In-office in Payson preferred; remote considered for candidates with demonstrated med mal or serious PI trial experience We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, paid time off, paid holidays, and bonuses.
