Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing customized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health issues, in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (pending credentials)
• Educating patients and families about wellness, prevention, and effective disease management techniques
• Prescribing treatments and medications while adhering to your scope of practice
• Engaging in ongoing patient care and chronic illness management
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless and comprehensive care
• Maintaining precise and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
