TECHNICAL SKILLS:
EMR experience (Epic preferred)
Insurance verification
Appointment scheduling
Microsoft Office Suite
Data entry

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Flexibility to work variable schedules and float to nearby Community Healthlink locations as needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Perform patient check-in and check-out
Verify insurance eligibility and update demographic information
Collect copays, outstanding balances, and issue receipts
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails
Complete patient registration and administrative intake
Process referrals and prior authorizations
Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record
Maintain provider schedules and clinic calendars
Support providers and clinicians with administrative tasks
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
Work collaboratively with the clinic team to deliver excellent patient service
Float to other Community Healthlink locations within a 35-mile radius as operational needs require
Perform other front office and administrative duties as assigned Company Description
